Women in Nuclear visits the Port Hope Area Initiative


Over 25 participants from 10 companies and organizations in Durham recently came together in Port Hope to learn about the Port Hope Area Initiative.

Water, Water Everywhere


It’s true that as Audrey Hepburn said “water is life and that clean water means health”, but can there be “too much of a good thing”? In Port Hope, there has been an abundance of water both from continual rainfall and spring thaw.



A CNL contractor will be conducting a minor emergency drill on Alexander Street in Port Hope today, (June 12, 2019) at around 11:30 a.m.. You may hear the testing of an air horn, which will emit a loud sound. At no time is there a risk to public safety or cause for concern.
