PHAI seeks new members for Citizen Liaison Groups

PHAI_CLGs-logo_NEWThe Port Hope Area Initiative (PHAI) Management Office is now accepting applications for the 2016 Port Hope Project Citizen Liaison Group (CLG) and Port Granby Project CLG. The application period closes on Dec. 18, 2015.

The CLGs offer a forum for volunteer members and PHAI Management Office staff to exchange information and ideas about the cleanup and long-term safe management of the historic low-level radioactive waste in the Port Hope and Port Granby communities.

Applicants may apply to sit as a citizen at large or as a representative of a local community organization. CLG members serve for two-year terms, with the option to extend for a maximum term of four years.
