As part of Port Hope Area Initiative activities, CNL contractors will be performing fieldwork using John Street.
To facilitate the safe excavation, truck loading, and transportation of low-level radioactive waste, flaggers will be present to control traffic for trucks to access and leave the work sites.
A section of the sidewalk on the east side of John Street will also be closed and parking unavailable in the immediate area.
This work is expected to begin in December 2025 and continue through April 2026.
No road or lane closures are planned. Please be careful when travelling in the area and obey all posted signage.
