As part of the Port Hope Area Initiative activities, CNL contractors will be continuing work on Caldwell Street. CNL contractors are actively working on 15 Caldwell Street. Once completed, CNL contractors will be moving into Stage 2 of the work on the Caldwell Street Road allowance.
To facilitate this work, Caldwell St. will be restricted to local traffic only and will be limited to one lane with flaggers to assist with traffic control. Access to the Walking Trail from Caldwell Street will be closed.
Work in Stage 2 is scheduled to begin in late April/early May to continue until moving into Stage 3 of the Caldwell Street Road allowance work.
Public access to the parking lot located at 15 Caldwell Street as well as the Walking Trail will be restricted until restoration can be completed.
