EXTENSION OF ROAD CLOSURE – Strachan Street

As a result of deeper than planned excavation at the Strachan Street ravine site, Port Hope Area Initiative fieldwork has been extended.

The road closure on Strachan Street will continue until late spring 2022 to facilitate the safe excavation, truck loading and transportation of historic waste to storage.

The road will not be open to any traffic during this period. We apologize for the inconvenience this closure may cause.

Please obey all signage as posted.
