Injury at Port Granby site

At approximately 11 a.m. today, a worker was injured while unloading a truck at CNL’s Port Granby Long-Term Waste Management Facility. The injured worker has been transported by air ambulance to a medical centre, and a second worker is being treated for shock.

Safety of our workers and the public is one of CNL’s core values, and we take this incident very seriously.

We are currently gathering information to determine the status of the situation and will keep the public and news media advised of any important developments via www.phai.ca.
