Do you have an interest in learning more about the Port Hope Area Initiative (PHAI) for work, educational purposes, or for general knowledge? CNL provides presentations to a variety of stakeholder groups as part of our Public Information Program. Whether you are a realtor seeking information about the Property Value Protection Program, a student of environmental science or a member of a community group, our presentations can be customized to meet the specific needs of your organization.
Recently, CNL provided a presentation to the Port Hope Rotary Club about the upcoming PHAI work in the community. The details of the upcoming work, as well as a brief history of how the waste became of a part of Port Hope’s history was discussed.
The Rotarians were eager to receive updated information about the Project and engaged in discussion with CNL staff about the work, potential impacts and mitigation measures starting at the waterfront this summer.
Staying connected with the local community, the public and all of the many stakeholders is essential to the success of the PHAI. As the Port Hope
Project remediation begins this spring and the Port Granby Project continues to move waste, there will be ongoing opportunities to engage the public and share news about the Port Hope Area Initiative.
Please feel free to connect at [email protected] if you have an interest in a topic and would like your group to receive a presentation.
