Additional remediation and restoration work is planned for the former Coal Gasification site, as part of the Port Hope Area Initiative (PHAI) cleanup activities, starting in May 2024.
To facilitate this work, Alexander Street, between Smith Street and John Street, will be closed to public use for the duration of the project.
