Baulch Road to be closed to facilitate road improvement.

Due to expected inclement weather, this work has been rescheduled
to June 8.

As part of the Port Hope Area Initiative (PHAI), a contractor for the project, ECC/Quantum Murray, will be upgrading road segments of Baulch Road. The work will include preparation and paving.

Baulch Road will be closed at the intersection of the Access Road on May 25 to facilitate paving and minor ditch work.

The work is expected to be completed in one day.

This work is being undertaken to improve construction and delivery vehicle access to the Long-Term Waste Management Facility for the cleanup of historic low-level radioactive waste in Port Hope.
