As part of Port Hope Area Initiative activities, Canadian Nuclear Laboratories is undertaking work on the property parcel adjacent to the Ganaraska River in the Municipality of Port Hope (see map).
Some of the work may come close to private property lines but will only be performed on the municipally owned lot.
You may see the following:
- Utility marking
- Borehole marking and sampling
- Traffic control measures
- Radiation detection and survey equipment used
The work is expected to be performed in early January 2026, weather dependent.
No road closures are expected. Please obey any posted signage.
