As part of Port Hope Area Initiative activities, CNL contractors will be performing fieldwork from the west end of the municipal laneway known as Brogden’s Lane, near Ontario Street.
To facilitate the safe excavation, truck loading and transportation of low-level radioactive waste in the area, a single lane closure is required. A section of the sidewalk will also be closed and parking unavailable in the immediate area.
This work is expected to begin in December 2025 and continue through April 2026.
Flaggers will assist with traffic control. Please be careful when travelling in the area and obey all posted signage.
