As part of Port Hope Area Initiative activities, CNL contractors will be performing fieldwork on Gifford Street beginning the end of February through summer 2026.
To facilitate the safe excavation, truck loading and transportation of low-level radioactive waste, there will be a sidewalk closure as well as a temporary single lane closure with intermittent traffic stops. At the end of each workday the lanes will be fully open to traffic.
Flaggers will assist with traffic control. Please be aware of increased traffic and obey all posted signage.
