As part of Port Hope Area Initiative activities, CNL contractors will be performing fieldwork on Hay Street, south of Elizabeth Street, and at the west end of Harris Street.
To support the safe excavation, truck loading, and transportation of low-level radioactive waste, Hay Street will be temporarily closed from late April to July 2025. The west end of Harris Street will also be closed during this time.
Access for emergency services will be maintained throughout the closures. Please exercise caution when travelling in the area and follow all posted signage.
