As part of the Port Hope Area Initiative, Canadian Nuclear Laboratories is undertaking work on public road allowances in the Municipality of Port Hope
(see map).
Some of these road allowances may come in close proximity to residential property lines.
You may see the following:
- Utility locating
- Borehole marking and sampling
- Traffic control enclosures
- Radiation detection and survey equipment used
This work is expected to be performed January through the end of March 2022.
No road closures are expected, however there may be temporary lane closures in areas.
