As part of Port Hope Area Initiative activities, our contractor is performing fieldwork to complete restoration of the eastern portion of the Waterworks West site.
Restoration work includes:
- Construction fencing around the site
- Grading, landscaping, and replacement of parking lot border stone
- Installation of playground equipment
- Ongoing site maintenance and activities
There will be no public access to the parking lot or area at the West Beach indicated on the map, fencing and signs indicating where access is restricted will be posted. The beach and waterfront remain accessible but parking in the area is limited. Please obey all posted signage.
