Notice of Work – Highland Drive Landfill

SAFETY ENHANCEMENTS

As of November 14, 2022 there will be no public access to the following areas:

  • Highland Drive Landfill Area
  • Areas adjoining the site
  • Behind the Jack Burger Sports Complex building

Access to the Jack Burger Sports Complex, parking lot area and existing municipal trail systems will not be affected.

Fencing will be installed and signs will be posted to indicate where access is restricted. Unofficial paths in the Highland Drive area that join Municipality of Port Hope walking trails in the nearby ravines may be restricted.

Please obey any posted signage.


CNL remains committed to the safety of the public, its workers and the environment while undertaking the PHAI, a community-requested solution to a longstanding environmental issue.
