Port Hope Area Initiative work is starting in the Highland Drive South Ravine this month. During this work you may see and/or hear:
- Installation of construction fencing around the property
- Site preparations including placement of a trailer and temporary washroom facilities
- Increased vehicle traffic including heavy equipment
The area includes restrictions to ensure continued public safety. Members of the public are reminded that there is no access to the ravine area.
No road closures are expected; however, there may be temporary lane closures in the construction area. Dust monitoring and noise monitoring are in place for the duration of the work.
