- Approximately 47,000 m3 of historic LLRW consolidated in a mound during initial cleanup of Port Hope properties in late 1970s to early 1980s
- Located immediately east of the Pine Street North Extension and north of Highland Drive
- Covered with a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) geomembrane protected on either side by 300 mm of imported fine-grained granular material, covered with topsoil (300 mm) and hydro seeded
Remediation/Restoration
Remediation and restoration of the site was completed in 2022.
