- Approximately 2,200 m3 of historic LLRW
- Located on an engineered pad and has not been in contact with the underlying native soil; soil is not considered as part of the site remediation
- Constructed in the early 1980s to temporarily store LLRW
- Synthetic Fabrene tarpaulin covers waste and is held in place with concrete curbs and pea stone ballast at the pile base
Remediation/Restoration Plans
- Remove historic waste, the asphalt pad and fence
- Waste will travel along the South Transportation Route to the Long-Term Waste Management Facility
