As part of Port Hope Area Initiative activities, CNL contractors will be performing fieldwork in a laneway between Victoria Street South and Bramley Street South, north of Sullivan Street.
To facilitate the safe excavation, truck loading and transportation of low-level radioactive waste, the middle portion of the laneway will be closed early November 2025 through April 2026.
CNL will work with abutting owners impacted by the activities. Access to the laneway will remain available to local traffic and emergency vehicles from either direction.
