As part of the Port Hope Area Initiative, Canadian Nuclear Laboratories is undertaking work on road allowances in the Municipality of Port Hope (see map).
Some of the work completed may come in close proximity to private property lines.
You may see the following:
- Utility locating
- Borehole marking, test pitting and sampling
- Traffic control enclosures
- Radiation detection and survey equipment used
The work is expected to be performed between September 2022 and January 2023.
No road closures are expected, however there may be temporary lane closures in the area.
