As part of Port Hope Area Initiative activities, our contractor will be undertaking work at the Alexander Street Ravine.
Some of the work completed may come near public road allowances and private property lines.
You may see the following:
- Construction fencing
- Vegetation removal
- Increased truck traffic
- Traffic control signage
The work is expected to continue through 2024. No road closures are expected; however, Hayward and Alexander Streets may be reduced to one lane or have temporary lane closures. Please obey flag-people and all signage.
