Nuclear Laboratory Partners of Canada (NLPC) has been previously announced as the preferred bidder to manage and operate Canadian Nuclear Laboratories as part of the Government-Owned, Contractor-Operated (GOCO) model.
This transition is now effective, and a safety pause is scheduled for Monday, December 15, across Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) sites. This deliberate moment will reinforce our longstanding commitment to safe, disciplined operations during periods of significant change.
We expect the transition to represent minimal impact to Port Hope Area Initiative operations. Normal operations will resume following the completion of site-wide safety briefings.
