Unauthorized access to CNL-managed lands

Please be reminded that there is no public access to lands that run from Cavan Street to Pine Street North and the Highland Drive Landfill.

This area includes the gravel roadway that provides access to Cavan Street. Additionally, areas that include Brewer’s Pond and any grassed area abutting the laneway, as well as unofficial walking paths that join Municipality of Port Hope walking trails, do not allow for public use.

Access to existing municipal trail systems is not affected.

CNL remains committed to the safety of the public, its workers and the environment while undertaking the PHAI. Please ensure that you and others in your household continue to respect boundaries and signage for your safety.
