UPDATE: COVID-19 and PHAI activities

Reduced operations continue at all CNL sites, following directives from the Canadian and Ontario governments, and guidelines from medical experts on the COVID-19 pandemic. Safety of our workers and the public continues to be our focus.

Although site activities remain suspended, we are planning diligently for a gradual return to cleanup work in the community, which will be implemented when the federal/provincial governments, public health authorities and CNL’s health and safety experts indicate that doing so is safe for our workers and the public.

We continue to be in regular communication with property owners and residents to meet their needs where we can do so safely. Varied select operations (deemed essential) will continue, with COVID protocols firmly in place. This essential work includes ensuring that properties where cleanup preparations and/or construction activities were underway prior to the pandemic remain in a safe state.

We will continue to update you on resumption activities, revised schedules and timelines as soon as details have been finalized.

As always, please connect with us if you have any questions or concerns via email at info@phai.ca or telephone 905.885.0291. Staff continue to work remotely and are available to provide information, answer questions and participate in tele-meetings where appropriate.
