Port Hope West Beach parking lot will be available from June 27 to July 2, 2025.
To facilitate Canada Day activities the parking lot will be temporarily opened over the long weekend. A path to the beach will also be available. Fencing will remain in place until late summer to finalize restoration of the area, including the installation of playground equipment.
Canadian Nuclear Laboratories is committed to the safety of the public, its workers and the environment while undertaking this community-requested solution to a longstanding environmental issue.
