NOTICE OF UPCOMING WORK – Laneway off Sherbourne Street

As part of Port Hope Area Initiative activities, CNL contractors will be performing fieldwork in a laneway between Strachan Street and Sherbourne Street.

To facilitate the safe excavation, truck loading and transportation of low-level radioactive waste, the southern portion of the laneway will be closed from mid-May through July 2025.

CNL will work with abutting owners impacted by the activities. Access to the laneway will remain available to local traffic and emergency vehicles from Strachan Street.

Please be careful when travelling in the area and obey all posted signage.
