While performing routine activities on January 15, 2025 as part of Port Hope Area Initiative work on a privately owned property in Port Hope, Ontario, a worker slipped and fell on the nearby street. The worker was taken by ambulance to receive appropriate medical treatment.
The worker has since resumed duties.
CNL notified the appropriate regulatory agencies, including the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission. The PHAI contractor performing the work reported the incident to the Ministry of Labour.
At no time was there risk to the safety of the public or the environment.
