Canadian Nuclear Laboratories’ (CNL) work to restore and protect the environment is vital to the mission. Through its Historic Waste Program Management Office (HWP MO) located in Port Hope, CNL is implementing the PHAI on behalf of Atomic Energy of Canada Limited, a federal Crown corporation.

Our staff is comprised of over 230 highly qualified and specialized personnel in fields such as engineering, health physics, radiation protection, stakeholder relations, environmental science, biology, quality control, finance and communications.
